Riding an Enfield is within reach for anybody. The technics are simple to understand, the price of parts are a fraction of those of other motorcycles. The membership fees are therefore also only €20* per year after registering. It is a friendly club and members organize a run now and then. The club holds enough know how to keep everyone rolling, but let's not forget the Enfield is a very reliably motorcycle.

Goals
One of the objectives laid down in 1979 when the association was founded is “to form a circle of friends of riders of motorcycles of British origin in the Netherlands and abroad”. We are therefore not a so-called “Owner's Club”. The requirement for membership is to have a warm heart for Enfields.
The chosen description "of British origin" has everything to do with current production in India. Just as all Philips products worldwide are of course of Dutch origin, all Enfields from India are of British origin. By default, there are many other brands and "open-minded" as Enfield riders are, it feels like a melting pot of many different metals ... but Enfield is always the main topic. Triumph, Norton, Ariel, BSA, Matchless, Panther, Vincent, but also Ural, Dnepr, BMW, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Honda, Jawa, Kawa, Buell, etc., we had them all for a visit. But we kindly ask that you do so on an Enfield, if possible.
Membership
Membership costs €20 per year and members abroad pay €25 per year for additional postage. A one-time registration fee of €3.50 is charged for a new membership.

If you are not a member yet and you have questions, you can contact us via the contact form. You will receive a response as soon as possible. This may take a while because the secretary is also a volunteer.
Members can view the "Members Only" section of this website. It tells you how to get in touch directly with the desired volunteer.

A response may take up to a week. This form first goes to the secretary, who then forwards it to the appropriate volunteer. Please note that we are all volunteers.
Annual General Meeting
Every year in the spring the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held for which all members are invited via the club magazine and the website. Every member can have their say about anything that could be important to the club. We are a democratic club.
Clubs Magazine Bulletin
From 2025 onwards, the club magazine "Bulletin" will be published five times a year. The magazine is only in Dutch, but is digital available in English. What once began as a stencilled paper is now for years a successful publication with announcements of events that you can't miss, stories about events you may have missed, technical tips, tinkering reports, serious motorcycling stories, history of the golden decennia of motorcycling and more of that....
A tip for the non-Dutch readers: you can (Google) translate the Bulletin yourself in the online archives.
Members can place an advertisement in the Bulletin, only Enfield related and not commercial. For commercial advertisements see elsewhere.

Internet and Archives
If you are a member you have access to the Members only section of the website including the club Calendar and Archives. Login details for this can be found in every latest issue of the Bulletin, which you will receive at home as a member.
In order to facilitate mutual contacts between members, there is also a closed Facebook Group accessible only to members. Here you can easily discuss anything related to Enfield and easily post photos or videos. Members can also post advertisements here, Enfield related and non-commercial.
Clubmeet
Every second Sunday of the odd month, except in May (then on the third Sunday), there is a meeting of Enfield riders, the club meet. Both members and other interested parties are welcome from midday.

Events
Rally or Camping Weekend
We try to organize one or more rallies each year, but there have to be members who want to do that.
At the moment there are 3 camping weekends: in April a Spring rally, in October an Autumn rally both in Zelhem, in August a summer rally, somewhere in the country.
Runs
Members can organize a run themselves by reporting it to one of the board members or employees. The tour will then be announced via the agenda in the club magazine and on the website, so that all members can take note of it. A more direct way is to do this in the Facebook Group, but not every club member is also a member of that group.
In recent years, the tours Dwars door Brabant, Gelders Mooiste and the Veluwe Rit have been organized.
More rides are always welcome. A nice tour can already be successful with only a few participants. Often it is a run that you often ride yourself in your own area, but now with a lunch stop halfway, or a visit to an attraction along the way.
Spannering day
On a Spannering day, at least spannering is talked about, often there is actually tinkering. In any case, it is a pleasant get-together. At the moment, there is 1 member who organizes a Spannering day.
